Job Title: Plant Controller

About the Role:

The Plant Controller will serve as a key business partner to plant and financial management, effectively managing and controlling the local business. This individual will oversee daily accounting operations, from project budget management to operational stages of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Planning: Coordinate and direct the preparation of the annual budget and contribute to the annual strategic planning process.
  • Financial and Operational Controls: Ensure an effective system of internal controls, including data integrity, asset protection, and adherence to corporate policies and governmental regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information, effectively reporting on operating results and performance against budget.
  • Driving Plant Profitability: Lead actions to achieve targets, mitigate risk, and prioritize resource needs.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance, with CPA and/or MBA a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a plant controller or cost manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team building skills.
  • Proficient in accounting systems, financial practices, and analysis of financial and operating information.

Travel Requirements: 25% to start, then < 10% moving forward

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt

Base Pay Range: $135,000 - $150,000
