Nurse Practitioner

Applicants with experience in areas such as arrhythmia management, bariatric care, code management, COVID-19 care, CRRT training, CVICU, burn patient care, chest tube management, ECMO, external pacemaker management, high acuity care, intra-aortic balloon pump management, MICU, neuro ICU, post-MI thermo care, post-cardiac surgery care, post-neuro surgery care, RRT, SICU, TPA administration, transplant care, or vascular intervention are encouraged to apply.

News best hospital Qualifications:

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
• Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
• Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
