Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Addictions Physician to join our dedicated team at VCU Health - Richmond, VA.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 per year

About the Role:

  • Provide addiction services to patients at VCUHS and teach addiction psychiatry/medicine.
  • Conduct 90% of work effort in clinical addictions activities in addiction medicine.
  • Teach and administer 10% for teaching and teaching-related activities.

Requirements:

  • U.S. medical degree or equivalent (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Virginia license/licensure-eligible
  • DEA licensure, including waiver for buprenorphine
  • Post-doctoral credentialing in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
  • Demonstrated history of working with patients with addictions
