KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a skilled Histology Specialist to join our team in Southwestern OK.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work under the guidance of the Pathologist and the Histotech Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Histotechnician (ASCP) or Histotechnician eligible and be registry-eligible with ASCP. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, preparing and keeping records and reports for the Pathology Department, and actively participating in all Pathology procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited Histotechnology program or an Associate Degree.
- Minimum of 6 hours in Chemistry and 6 hours in Biology, and 1 year of acceptable experience under an ASCP Pathologist and HT (ASCP) or HLT (ASCP).
