Pilates Instructor

As a Pilates Instructor at Equinox, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in the field of fitness. Our team of experienced Pilates professionals will provide you with the support and guidance you need to succeed.

• Develop a comprehensive Pilates training program for each client, ensuring they attain their goals and remain motivated to continue progress.
• Conduct initial client assessments and goal setting to recommend a Pilates training program.
• Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions.
• Work with the Pilates Manager to build your book of business through our member base and ensure your success.
• Complete all administrative requirements associated with client management.
• Collaborate with other departments in the club to ensure members have a well-rounded experience.
• Provide excellent customer service to all Equinox members and guests.
• Strive to have consistent and frequent client activity to help them achieve results and goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus.
• A minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education through a certification program.
• Ability to provide a valid copy of Pilates certification(s).
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, sitting, and walking.
• Squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Pushing, pulling, ability to safely spot and correct clients during sessions.
