Universal Banker

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Universal Banker to join our team at our Whiting, Indiana branch.

The Universal Banker is responsible for providing high-quality service to members, handling a wide range of financial transactions, and promoting credit union products and services. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

1. Provide exceptional member service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
2. Process financial transactions, including cash handling, account maintenance, and opening new accounts.
3. Assist members with product promotions and referrals, using needs-based selling techniques to identify and meet their financial needs.
4. Participate in outbound call efforts, reviewing and updating prospect lists, and following up with members to promote credit union products and services.
5. Assume additional retail functions, including drawer audits, member account maintenance, and vault duties, as assigned by supervisor/manager.
6. Comply with credit union policies and procedures, including Check Cashing, Cash Control, and Transaction Approval Limits.
7. Volunteer for special projects and assume additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Six months of retail sales and/or cash handling experience, or equivalent experience within a financial institution or related field.
