Healthcare Professionals Sought for Skilled Nursing Position

We are currently hiring a skilled MDS Coordinator to join our team at Greentree Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a family-owned 90-bed skilled nursing facility in Waterford, Connecticut.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Develop preliminary and comprehensive MDS assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.
  • Ensure timely completion and electronic submission of MDS data to the State of Connecticut.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and be a graduate of a Connecticut-approved RN program.
  • Must possess a current certification as a Nurses Aide.
  • Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must be able to perform physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving up to 40 pounds.
