Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and implement patient care plans in collaboration with registered nurses and physicians.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of certified nurse aides and unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in New York State.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
