Diagnostic Radiologist with Expertise in Advanced Imaging Techniques

The Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, NC. **Job Responsibilities**
This position requires a physician with expertise in advanced general diagnostic radiology procedures, including MRI, CT, Mammography, MRA, and Ultrasound. The successful candidate will work under the limited supervision of the Chief, Department of Radiology, and Chief, Diagnostic Radiology Service, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC). Key responsibilities include:
- Performing assigned work with considerable independence in accordance with Army and hospital regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Exercising independent judgment in the medical treatment and management of patients, including critically ill patients.
- Providing consultation, reporting radiologic diagnostic examinations, and delivering interpretation of studies and diagnoses to clinicians.
- Recommending and directing patient care, including minimization of patient invasion during procedures.
- Maintaining daily interaction with other staff radiologists, clinicians, residents, fellows, technologists, and nurses.
**Requirements**
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree and a current license to practice in the state or territory of the US. Board certification is also required.
**Salary**
The estimated annual salary for this position is $300,000-$400,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
