Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Coos and Curry Counties. As a key member of our education service district, you will play a vital role in providing essential services to students with speech and/or language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and describe the communicative behavior of children/students, relating that behavior to normal development.
  • Coordinate and integrate test results with parents, school staff, and other professionals.
  • Plan and implement effective intervention programs for identified students.
  • Report progress to parents, teachers, and other concerned individuals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Certification/licensure to function as a Speech Language Pathologist in Oregon.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology.
  • Oregon Basic Certificate with Speech Pathology endorsement.
  • Oregon State Health License in Speech Pathology.

Working Conditions: This position may involve working in regular or special education settings, community settings, or traveling on the job. The employee may work beyond an eight-hour day or a five-day work week. Confidentiality is a top priority for this position.
