Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom websites using theme frameworks with custom HTML/CSS, and build sites using WordPress CMS and other platforms as appropriate.
  • Serve as an advanced-level front-end developer to deploy content and maintain the front-end of the Glidewell website in Adobe CMS.
  • Maintain and update the e-commerce's front-end UI and inform the development team of any bugs or technical issues identified.
  • Review data gathered from analytical tools to suggest future UX modifications.
  • Identify, suggest, and create appropriate, branded design concepts for content across various digital channels.
  • Create visual layouts and templates for pages and sites with clear navigational schemes.
  • Develop and maintain CE tests for websites.
  • Produce design assets for use in digital marketing channels, for both Company and third-party affiliate delivery channels.
  • Optimize custom graphic elements and iconography as required to ensure proper structure and compatibility with modern browsers and devices.
  • Sources related imagery to create the client's story in a compelling and impactful way.
  • Modify PHP templates as needed and understand the structure and correct way to modify within WordPress and other platforms.
  • Apply a creative eye and user experience (UX) awareness to projects and test and improve site usability and performance on a variety of internet browsers.
  • Address and repair bugs or other performance issues discovered in live sites.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of designs across channels, developing or adhering to brand guidelines established in other mediums.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technology trends and make recommendations to management regarding software platforms, APIs, plug-ins, and other tools that may help to increase quality or efficiency of content.
  • Engage with other departments to assess projects, needs, and timelines.
  • Participate in planning meetings and/or conference calls as necessary.
  • Track time and project progress through the organization's system of record.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience creating websites and digital content for various channels.
  • Experience in CMS (Shopify, WordPress, Liquid) required.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager Sites, highly preferred.
  • Experience in React or React Native, required.
  • Experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Node.JS, required.
  • Experience developing back-end technologies in a headless environment, required.
  • Experience in Python, nice to have.
