About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Top Sales Professional to join our team at US0009 Sysco Pittsburgh, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships with new and existing accounts, promote our products and services, and drive sales growth.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and performance.

About the Job

This outside sales position requires developing new business, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and penetrate existing accounts to achieve sales growth and profitability.
  • Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
  • Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet their requirements.
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on their business needs and goals.
  • Provide value-added services to customers, including answering questions about products, prices, availability, and product use.
  • Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related discipline; or HSD/GED and 3 years of restaurant management, B2B, or outside sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current automobile insurance with specified liability limits.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English.
