Part-time Instructor Opportunities in Health Sciences

The Department of Health Sciences and Human Performance at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in health sciences, personal health, nutrition, or allied health. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students.
Responsibilities- Teach one or more course sections meeting 2-4 hours per week for a semester.
- Assist students both in and out of the classroom.
- Create syllabi for students each semester using learning outcome guidelines provided by the department.
- Provide meeting time for students as needed.
- Administer and grade examinations and assignments.
- Manage online or paper grading system as needed.
- A minimum of a Master's degree in health sciences, exercise sciences, or a related field required; Doctorate preferred.
- Previous experience in nutritional and/or personal health programming, community health, public health, or an allied health profession preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in nutritional and/or personal health programming, community health, public health, or an allied health profession preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
