We are seeking a highly skilled Intraoperative Neurophysiologist to join our team at Globus Medical. As a key member of our team, you will provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services to surgeons and patients, ensuring the highest standard of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities- Obtain detailed medical histories and consult with surgeons to determine patient structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
- Communicate monitoring information to the surgical team throughout the procedure.
- Display and label waveforms for marking, measuring, and calculating latency, amplitude, and conduction time data.
- Identify and troubleshoot protocols to ensure accurate data collection.
- Complete required documentation and prepare IOM logs, files, and timely file uploads.
- Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Eligibility for CNIM certification via one pathway (Bachelor's degree, R EEG T or R EP T certification, or graduate of a CAAHEP or NIM IOM program).
- Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and human anatomy & physiology, or technical troubleshooting experience.
- Operating room experience preferred.
- Ability to transport and set up equipment totaling 50lbs in a timely fashion.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting.
