Northeast Kingdom Human Services, a 501(c)(3) private not-for-profit organization, seeks a full-time Outpatient Mental Health Specialist to join our growing team in Newport, Vermont. This role is integral to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in local communities.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Staff Psychiatrist to perform psychiatric nursing assessments and develop treatment plans based on practice guidelines and evidence-based standards of care. Accurate diagnosis and prescription management are essential aspects of this position.

The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in nursing and is board-certified in psychiatric mental health. Vermont certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, preferably in adult and child/adolescent areas, is preferred. A Suboxone waiver and two or more years of experience in mental health clinical services are also requirements.
