Job Overview

Rush Group Limited seeks a seasoned Strategic HR Business Development Manager to lead our Human Resources department. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Human Resources, this position will be responsible for driving business growth through effective human capital management.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished HR professional to take charge of strategic initiatives and implement impactful solutions that drive results. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources, with experience in compensation, labor relations, benefits administration, payroll, timekeeping, employee relations, union negotiations, and full life cycle activities.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate complex situations effectively. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential, as well as knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry trends.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans to achieve business objectives
  • Manage compensation, labor relations, benefits administration, payroll, and timekeeping functions
  • Lead employee relations activities, including recognition events and vision team engagement
  • Support union negotiations and contract administration
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, representing the company at hearings as needed
  • Conduct full life cycle activities, including recruitment, orientation, performance management, succession planning, and termination
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports, participating in department meetings and other seminars
  • Recommend new approaches to improve HR efficiency and services provided
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in manufacturing
  • Professional certification in Human Resource Management (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What We Offer

Rush Group Limited offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for career growth and professional development. This role requires occasional travel up to 10%, with valid driver's license necessary.
