Production Operations Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Team Lead to oversee and direct workers engaged in repetitive tasks, ensuring they follow specific instructions and work specifications provided by the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate the team to meet production standards, identify and address delays or quality issues, and assist workers in resolving unique challenges.
  • Assign and explain tasks, inspect tools and equipment, and evaluate completed work.
  • Train employees and ensure the quality and quantity of the final output.
  • Perform daily quality audits on each line to verify worker performance, proper material control of all components, and ensure all other aspects of the line are in compliance.
  • Verify Bills of Material (BOM's) at each line changeover and at the beginning of each shift.
  • Monitor worker performance and 'bottleneck' operations throughout the day to ensure a consistent hourly output.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience leading, training, and motivating assembly line employees.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must.
  • Working knowledge of computers and programs, including Microsoft Outlook.
