Job DescriptionThe Customer Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences. As the first point of contact, this individual will strive to entice customers to choose our organization for the long term, thereby increasing revenue for all our Markets.
Responsibilities:- Maintain the interior and exterior appearance of the store to the highest standards, including cleaning and stocking shelves and cases.
- Adhere to state and federal laws regarding alcohol and cigarette sales.
- Stay up-to-date on pricing policies and communicate any discrepancies to management.
- Accurately ring in all sales through the point of sale system.
- Audit and control cash in the drawer to meet company guidelines.
- Monitor competitors' retail gasoline prices and report changes to management, making adjustments as needed.
- Protect company assets at all times, including shoveling and spreading salt on sidewalks and pump islands, and clearing ice and snow off fuel dispensers.
- Ensure maintenance of coffee supplies, reach-in coolers, and overall store cleanliness, including shelves, coffee stations, and cold drink dispensary.
- Perform routine checks on refrigeration equipment to ensure proper temperature performance.
- Report all maintenance issues, security concerns, and emergencies to management.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Exceptional customer service skills
This position requires flexibility with schedules, with typical 8-hour days or occasional coverage of other shifts as needed.
Estimated salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
