We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Production Supervisor to join our team at The Vertex Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our depot-level maintenance activities, ensuring the timely completion of all required maintenance tasks, and directing the productive efforts of assigned employees.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance-related actions, including PMI schedules, Modification Line Technical Directives, S&P schedules, SLEP schedules, ISR schedules, and cannibalization actions.
- Assign and direct the productive efforts of assigned employees to ensure the timely completion of all required maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with other work centers to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
- Authorize cannibalization actions as required and instruct assigned employees on proper maintenance methods and procedures.
- Responsible for the satisfactory completion of assigned work and the preparation and maintenance of required records.
- Formulate necessary reports to the Government and assist in mishaps repair/reports as required.
- Enforce foreign object damage (FOD), hazardous waste, and tool control programs.
- Assist in training programs as required for employees assigned to him/her.
- Ensure required quality control inspections are complied with and maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
- Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years' experience in Depot Level aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Project/PowerPoint is preferred but not required.
- 5 years' experience in supervising and leading daily workload operations of personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled Depot Level maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearance as required.
- Valid state driver's license.
