About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at NEW Health, a leading non-profit primary care provider in rural northeast Washington. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in improving the overall health of our communities by providing high-quality oral health care to adults and children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scaling/root planning, cleaning, and polishing of teeth as required.
  • Provide sealants, screenings/radiographs, restorative fills, and other necessary treatments as needed.
  • Administer local anesthesia and record evaluations of oral condition on dental charts.
  • Give oral hygiene instructions, dietary advice, and provide information about necessary dental care.
  • Setup and cleanup of own room and instruments.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of provider productivity standards.
  • Represent NEW Health at conferences, meetings, and continuing education programs.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program required.
  • Previous experience in a community dental clinic preferred.
  • Valid hygienist licensure in Washington State required.
  • Ability to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicaid, etc.).

Additionally, NEW Health licensed health professionals are eligible to apply for the Washington State Health Professional Loan Repayment Program.
