Physical Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy.
About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, and providing education and support to enhance patients' functional independence and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to utilize your training and skills to aid patients in achieving their goals, including healing, recovering, improving pain level/tolerance, and maximizing functional independence.
Key Responsibilities- Collections and records patient care data that follows format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers, reflecting an understanding of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care.
- Records daily billing and follows department guidelines for productivity.
- Prepares for evaluations in accordance with department policies/procedures and standards of practice, including obtaining patient history, exhibiting knowledge of patient diagnoses, and researching unfamiliar diagnoses.
- Selects and administers tests and measures, synthesizes evaluation results to formulate diagnosis, goals, prognosis, and plan of care.
- Establishes treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and patient support systems.
- Provides interventions to patients that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG Physical Therapy, including musculoskeletal interventions, therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization, and modalities.

What We Offer- A competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirement in the appropriate state (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR License.
- Experience/knowledge with an EMR software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
