Job Summary

As a Loss Prevention Supervisor at Marriott, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees. This role involves patrolling all areas of the property, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. You will also conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. Additionally, you will monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas, and assist guests/employees during emergency situations. You will respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, gather information, and complete reports. You will maintain confidentiality of reports/documents, release information to authorized individuals, defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures, resolve safety hazard situations, handle all interruptions and complaints, escort unwelcome persons from the property, and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws. You will also call for assistance using proper code responses and provide proper paperwork to employees.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process, follow all company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, complete safety training and certifications, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, thank guests with genuine appreciation, speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees, and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, at least 2 years of related work experience, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. The pay range for this position is $22.23 to $29.65 per hour, and offers health care benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits.
