We are seeking an experienced Autosys Operations Engineer to join our team at Aloden, Inc. in Charlotte, NC. This is a 19+ month contract position with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or triage major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
  • Identify root causes of problems and implement preventative actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Monitor application health, proactively addressing alerts and failures.
  • Oversee batch job execution and data feed processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot failures, providing effective solutions.
  • Support disaster recovery exercises and implement measures to reduce recovery time.
  • Identify and address troublesome trends to maintain operational stability.
  • Manage daily operational risks and controls, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and work standards.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in at least 2 databases: Ab Initio, Teradata, Hadoop, or Oracle.
  • 3+ years of experience in AUTOSYS job scheduling and management.
  • 3+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Informatica experience.
