Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Per Diem Respiratory Practitioner to join our team at Barton Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role: In this role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to assess patients' respiratory needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Your expertise in respiratory care principles and practices will enable you to provide exceptional patient care and support your colleagues in delivering quality services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and evaluation
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment through effective communication and teamwork

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current RRT certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • California RCP license
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • A minimum of two years' experience in acute care settings
