About the Role

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, including taking and recording patient history, vital signs, making appointments, and assisting staff clinicians in routine clinical activities. They will also perform related duties as required, drawing blood from patients for analysis or other medical purposes, collecting and processing urinalysis and point of care tests, and screening eye and auditory exams.

This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct patient care, including taking and recording patient history, vital signs, making appointments, and assisting staff clinicians in routine clinical activities.
  • Performing related duties as required, drawing blood from patients for analysis or other medical purposes, collecting and processing urinalysis and point of care tests, and screening eye and auditory exams.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care activities, including documenting progress, identifying changes in patient condition, and referring patients to appropriate medical practitioners.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, monitor progress toward identified goals, and report information to the team for use in re-evaluating the plan of care.
Requirements
  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • At least six months of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current certification in Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
