About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating visually stunning sushi dishes. As a Sushi Artisan at Zest, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi, working collaboratively with our kitchen team, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Crafting exquisite sushi dishes that exceed guest expectations
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient service operations
• Staying up-to-date with menu offerings, ingredients, and cooking techniques
• Providing exceptional customer service, responding to feedback, and contributing to a positive dining experience

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably as a sushi chef or assistant
• Demonstrated expertise in sushi preparation, presentation, and plating
• Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing stress
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service
