Accounts Receivable Role Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to manage cash application through bank lockbox or incoming wires.
  • This role involves overseeing daily cash balancing between the bank and the company, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the credit and collection department to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Responsibilities also include researching customer deductions and short pays by contacting customers for verification.
  • Mailing customer invoices is an essential part of this role, as well as posting cash to and balancing the general ledger accurately.
  • The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for sending W-9 and sales tax forms when requested by customers.
  • This role also involves issuing or canceling checks for accounts payable and processing credit vouchers efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant education or experience in accounting or a related field is required for this role.
  • An Associate's Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are necessary for data analysis and management.

Work Environment and Compensation:

This Accounts Receivable position is based fully onsite in Canton, OH, offering a salary range of $41,600 - $52,000 depending on experience. If you are a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
