Role Overview
">Lifepoint Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Glendale, California.

Job Summary:
Lifepoint Rehabilitation is a leading provider of acute inpatient rehabilitation services. As a Speech Language Pathologist with our organization, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy sessions to patients to help them regain lost functions
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members
- Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs

Requirements:
- Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board
- Meet education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations
- Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
- Strong organizational and communication skills
