NUS Monitor Technician

As a NUS Monitor Technician at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams by performing a variety of administrative and technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clerical duties related to patient admission, discharge, and documentation
Greet patients and families, assisting them with necessary forms and paperwork
Complete admission and discharge paperwork and file processing
Develop a rapport with nursing and clinical staff, responding to questions and requests from healthcare providers
Organize and file medical information appropriately
Answer phones and communicate clearly with other units, physicians, and guests
Safeguard sensitive medical information and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma
Successful completion of the Hackensack Meridian Health Monitor Tech Exam
Nursing Unit Secretary work experience in a hospital setting is strongly desired
BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required
Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology of the heart is strongly preferred
