Northern Light Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Specialist to join our team. As a Chaplaincy Services Coordinator, you will provide spiritual support and guidance to patients and their families in their homes. Your role will involve assessing the spiritual needs of clients, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. You will also be responsible for educating healthcare professionals and community clergy on counseling in client care. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide spiritual assistance and counseling to patients and their families
* Assess and document comprehensive and holistic assessments of patients' and families' spiritual and emotional needs
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
* Educate healthcare professionals and community clergy on counseling in client care
* Participate in development, marketing, and outreach to promote agency services

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree
* Current license to drive in the state of Maine
* Reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance
* BLS for Healthcare Providers certification

Working Conditions:

* Potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive people

* Need to drive to perform responsible duties

* Potential exposure to very hot or cold temperatures
