Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing practices to provide safe and excellent patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members
  • Administer medications utilizing the latest advancements in technology
  • Document patient care using electronic documentation systems
  • Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness
  • Ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care through multi-disciplinary discharging
  • Hold a NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License and a BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years
  • Per diem positions require a minimum of 1 year of experience in NICU
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and teamwork
  • BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire
