We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging PET/CT Technologist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities.

About the Role:

">

This is a per diem position responsible for performing diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, collaborating with medical directors and supervisors on technical issues, and ensuring adherence to the US Oncology Compliance Program.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform diagnostic PET/CT or CT imaging procedures, including injection of radio pharmaceuticals and/or IV contrast, administration of oral contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning, reconstruction, and filming of images.">
  • Assist in procedure scheduling and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.">
  • Ensure accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution, and patient files.">
  • Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor scanner performance and report malfunctions or need for service.">
  • Responsible for patient data and films, including printing, archiving, retrieval, network data transfers, tracking, and logging of loaned films and requested outside films.">

Qualifications:

">

To be successful in this role, you will require a CA Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT) certification, CPR/BLS certificate, and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification Board (NMTCB) certification. Additionally, 2 years of applied health science experience and 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience are preferred.

Physical Demands:

">

This role requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will also need to lift and push patients in wheelchairs/stretchers weighing up to 300 pounds and place them in appropriate positions for equipment operation.

Work Environment:

">

As an Imaging PET/CT Technologist, you will be regularly exposed to direct contact with patients, potential exposure to blood, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Estimated Salary: $120,440.32 - $132,484.35
