Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Technician to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a Critical Care Technician, you will work in our 18-bed Adult Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), providing clinical support functions to promote a safe and compassionate patient care environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living needs, monitoring and reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs.
  • Respond to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality and monitoring patient safety.

Qualifications:
  • Must have recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care.
  • Preferred: Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
