Austin Community College is seeking a highly skilled Aviator to join our team

We are looking for an experienced Airline Crew Member to operate light category single and multi-engine airplanes at low altitudes and speeds conducting research and development testing and dispensing biological control specimens such as sterile insects over designated areas throughout the United States.

The ideal candidate will have possession of a current Commercial Pilot Certificate and meet minimum flight hour requirements including 1500 HRS total flight time, 250 HRS pilot-in-command, 75 HRS night flying and 100 HRS flying time last 12 months. Also possessing a current first or second-class medical certificate is required.

About this role:

  • Operate special purpose aircraft along flight lanes and pilot aircraft to conduct research and development tests
  • Prepare maps using computer hardware and software
  • Coordinate activities with program and equipment personnel

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
