This Clinical Leader - Surgical Unit RN position is a unique opportunity to showcase your nursing expertise and leadership skills in a fast-paced surgical unit. As a seasoned Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced RN with a strong background in surgical nursing to lead our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the surgical unit, prioritize patient needs, and ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Develop and implement effective plans of care for patients, taking into account their individual needs and circumstances.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, resolve conflicts, and improve outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration, and vital signs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a surgical setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo language skills are highly valued.
The salary for this position is $97,875 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings opportunities.
