About the Position
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in Edison, New Jersey.
This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a Pediatric Intensive Care unit, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Assess patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate their responses to interventions.
- Administer medications as prescribed, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Participate in on-call rotations, respond promptly to emergencies, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring adequate supply levels.
- Transport patients as needed, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Pediatric Intensive Care or a related field.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read and comprehend written instructions, and capacity to follow verbal directions.
- Strong technical and motor skills, including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and mobility when assisting with procedures or using equipment.
- Mental requirements include coping with frequent public interaction, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working occasionally under close supervision or independently.
- Sensory demands include visual acuity and effective communication.
