Job Description:A Comprehensive Treatment Specialist at Zinnia Health LLC plays a pivotal role in delivering therapeutic interventions for individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine the severity of substance abuse and any co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, including short-term and long-term goals.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
- Address and manage crises, including substance withdrawal symptoms, relapse prevention, and emotional distress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure: LCAC, LCAC-A, LMHC, LMHC-A, LSW, or LCSW.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in a substance abuse treatment setting. Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team environment.
