Nurse Specialist for Neonatal Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist for Neonatal Care. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or similar settings.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal care and excellent communication skills. As a nurse specialist, you will work closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
Responsibilities- Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
- Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
- Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Two years of recent experience in neonatal nursing.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
