Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our Systems Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the affordability and sustainability of our aerospace systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Mission-focused Cost-Effectiveness Analysis: Develop and implement cost-effectiveness analysis techniques to ensure the optimal use of resources.
  • Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC): Conduct LCC analyses to identify areas for cost reduction and improve overall system affordability.
  • Trade Studies: Participate in trade studies to evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most cost-effective approach.
  • Design to Cost (DTC): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop systems that meet both performance and cost requirements.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience.
  • Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Salary Range:$147,700 - $221,500. We offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment.
