We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lava Heights Academy in Toquerville, Utah.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the medical department, ensuring adherence to healthcare guidelines and implementing safety standards for youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical evaluations on clients
  • Provide medication management for all clients as often as required
  • Provide medical and psychiatric evaluations for all new clients and as necessary for current clients
  • Remain in contact with parents, guardians, and case workers regarding medication management
  • Sign off on all client treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Practice
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Utah
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $$105,000, depending on experience and certifications.
