Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Assistant. This role will provide advanced support to our clinical operations, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
About the Role
In this position, you will assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of our office, providing direct patient care and supporting the development and implementation of patient care plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, communicating effectively with patients and their families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have at least three years of related experience in oncology, acute care, or infusion experience as a LPN. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must have a strong sense of discipline, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to accepted clinical standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Three or more years of related experience in oncology, acute care, or infusion experience as a LPN
- Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards
- Must maintain high degree of confidentiality
- Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician
- Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians
Prior Experience and Certifications
Prior experience performing oncology tests & labs is required. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month is also mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
