Overview

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a board-certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders to join its Neurological Institute. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced specialists and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions, including movement disorders.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, taking into account patient history, medical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
    • Perform procedures as needed, including electrodiagnostic testing and EMG.
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and develop treatment plans.
  • Quality Improvement:
    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement changes to optimize patient care and satisfaction.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in neurology and movement disorders.
    • Participate in ongoing medical education and training to expand your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • American Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology and Movement Disorders.
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.

Estimated Salary: $168.27 per hour.
