Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing and Customer Service Liaison to join our team at Dakota Performance Solutions. This role is responsible for establishing and assigning financial responsibility, collecting co-payments, pre-payments, and payments on account balances.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. They will also be proficient in medical terminology and have strong customer service skills.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 11am to 8:30pm, with no weekends required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and assign financial responsibility for patients
  • Collect co-payments, pre-payments, and payments on account balances
  • Work through insurance queues to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
  • Provide excellent customer service and empathy to patients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical billing or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in medical terminology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
