We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team at Milpitas USD. As a Behavior Intervention Technician I, you will work closely with special education staff, students, and parents to implement behavior intervention strategies.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a training program in behavior intervention techniques. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of individualized behavior plans for students with severe disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and support students in achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with special education staff to develop and revise behavior plans
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a training program in behavior intervention techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan and paid time off.
