The RN Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the physician practice management team, responsible for leading the clinic's clinical staff in an Ambulatory setting. This role involves coordinating and guiding the work activities of clinical staff, monitoring work schedules, and supporting quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the clinical team in providing therapeutic patient and family-centered care.
- Develop, execute, and evaluate plans of care for patients.
- Utilize evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.
- Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings.
- Delegate and supervise care in accordance with BFS policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with physician practice experience preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field or an Associate's degree in Nursing combined with enrollment or acceptance into a BSN program required.
- RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
- CPR certification required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates high degree of knowledge and competence in area of practice.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities and is comfortable giving direction, delegating tasks.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with staff, patients, and families.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and written and verbal communication skills.
