Job Description:

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, testing, and operating hemodialysis machines for patient treatments. You will also obtain and document necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight for each patient, evaluate vascular access pre-treatment and perform vascular access cannulation, and monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility (preferred but not required)
- Continued employment is dependent on successful completion of the Fresenius Medical Care dialysis training program and successful completion of CPR certification
