Job Summary

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital - Dublin is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing quality nutritional care to patients, including assessment, development, and implementation of medical nutrition therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides nutritional care to patients, including assessment, development, and implementation of medical nutrition therapies
  • Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and communicates with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provides nutrition education to patients and families, and develops educational programs to promote healthy eating habits
  • Acts as Food Service manager during scheduled weekends, holidays, or covering vacation shifts, supervising staff to achieve hospital and departmental mission and goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition related field
  • Current state licensure/certification, if required by state
  • Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration
  • One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent
