Job Description:

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for managing all payroll-related functions, ensuring the accurate processing of wage payments to exempt and non-exempt staff. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Process end-to-end payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages to employees.
  • Attendance Records and Documents: Process attendance records, W-2 forms, and other relevant documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Electronic Payments and Distribution: Oversee electronic payments and distribute payroll checks as needed.
  • Financial Compensations and Deductions: Process annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, and workers' compensation deductions accurately and efficiently.
  • Audits and Record Maintenance: Interact with internal and external auditors, provide access to payroll and related records, maintain annual worker's compensation audit records, and audit sick/annual leave records for eligible employees.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: 2+ years of payroll experience, hands-on experience with payroll software/HRIS (Lawson and Kronos system experience preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under tight deadlines, knowledge of high-volume, multi-state payroll systems, processes, and procedures, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Estimated Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
