Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and national averages. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Investigator and Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in financial crime investigation and analysis. You will be responsible for performing AML alert/case reviews, researching and analyzing complex information sets, and making logical determinations regarding suspicious activity.

  • Performing AML alert/case reviews to mitigate risks associated with financial crimes and suspicious activity
  • Applying research and analytic techniques to digest complex information sets and make logical determinations regarding suspicious activity
  • Documenting findings in narrative style format and preparing updates to project managers/team leads as appropriate

You will also be required to work collaboratively with other teams and departments to identify and address potential financial crimes. Your expertise in US reporting requirements, knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, and ability to detect and mitigate red flags for potential financial crime will be invaluable assets to our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, law)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial crime investigation and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance)
