Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and ongoing maintenance of our facility, grounds, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repair and preventive maintenance to facility and building systems on Center.
  • Inspect the work of other maintenance personnel and research and recommend purchase of replacement equipment as needed.
  • Oversee the training activities of students assigned to the maintenance area and conduct periodic inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure working quality.
  • Coordinate activities with the Facilities Maintenance vocational training program, if applicable, and complete work orders as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Provide student transport as necessary and produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards and plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
  • Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities and proactively maintain the skills required to perform job duties.
  • Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH and show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for their actions and behavior.
  • Provide quality services for students and ensure that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursue improvement and enhancement of requisite services.
  • Exchange ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contribute meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge.
  • Effectively articulate thoughts and ideas, identify problems, analyze causes, and evaluate appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions.
  • Work in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
  • Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
